FIFA 18/17,16,15 RS button not working | Fifa 18/17,16,15 Controller configuration for PC
Are you using a controller which doesn't officially supported by EA sports? RS button not working on your FIFA 17/16/15? Do you need to change your controller button configuration of your new FIFA 15? Are unable to give skill moves on FIFA 17/16/15? Then this post is a solution for you. The process I am going to show you is working for me and many of my friends. Hope this will also help you.
Every FIFA including FIFA 18/17,16,15 games contains a folder "fifasetup". In this folder you will find "fifaconfig.exe" file. I have noticed that after FIFA 11 EA Sports have made a change of this file. That old file have some option to configure both Keyboard and Controller. But, recent versions are not able to do this. So, first lets see how to make RS button workable.
FIFA 18/17/16/15 RS Button Fix
Go to Start and find Run. Write "regedit" and click on OK. Registry Editor window will appare. Expand HKEY_CURRENT_USER and go to System > CurrentControlSet > Control-> MediaProperties and there in some of the three folders you should find a file called OEMName > Right Click on it > Modify > Rename to "Logitech Cordless RumblePad 2".
Remember: It will enable the right analog stick but other button configuration will be changed.
This is the hole process to fix FIFA 18/17,16,15 RS Button. Now let's configure button as you want.
Configure FIFA 17/16/15 Controller Button
Download this file from here. (DOWNLOAD)
This is the "fifaconfig.exe" file of old FIFA 11. Using this you can configure your controller.
Extract this file. You will get "fifasetup" folder. Copy that extracted folder to your 18/17,16,15 game directory. Keep a backup of your original "fifasetup". Then open "fifaconfig.exe" file. Go to "Game setting" > "Controller" and configure as you want.
Then go to my document. You will find FIFA 11 folder in it. Open that folder and copy "buttonDataSetup.ini" file. Now go to FIFA 15 and paste that file here.
Hope this hole process will work for you. Now, you will be able to give skill moves on fifa 15. I will upload a video soon describing these hole process.
